The Resilience and Wellness Committee for the United State Probation and Pretrial Office, Eastern District of Arkansas is actively promoting the rejuvenation of exercise, hydration, and heart health. Several new initiatives have been implemented over the past few months, including the introduction of a new water bottle filling station/fountain in the Little Rock breakroom, monthly wellness reminder/challenge  emails to staff, continued weekly guided yoga classes, standing work stations, and general encouragement to utilize existing resources such as the wellness room and the fitness center. Additionally, all staff have been encouraged to use fitness trackers and heart monitor applications that are standard features on most personal electronic devices, and the committee is in the process of developing a monthly, incentive-based wellness challenge for all staff.
